April 1, 2009: Wesleyan’s Got Talent

Compiled by Sarah Kaplan
Managing Editor

LeAnne Nicholson is a Golden Heart, and she is an excellent Knitter. She has been knitting since June 2008, and she claims she is still a beginner. She has made scarves, bracelets ,headbands, and hats so far with her skills. “I have really grown to love knitting,” she says. “It’s a real stress reliever and it’s fun.” LeAnne likes teaching her friends how to knit too. Last semester she stared a Knitting Group on campus for anyone who was interested in learning. By next year, she hopes to get the group together for a set time each week. “Knitting is fun because you can actually wear what you make!”
