Wesleyan Women Own the Night

The Third Annual Women’s Studies Symposium  took place on March 29th, 2011. The presenters of the night included  Alexa Kister, Amanda Awanjo, Eliza Cato, and Sarah Hudson who all spoke on various topics.  The evening was lovely as were the presentations on the Re-envisioning of God, Hip-Hop music, Embalming, and Mulan.   A huge thanks is in order, for  Dr. Deidra Donmoyer, fellow students of  the Women Studies Symposium Lab, and Kellie Cauley the hostess for creating a night that both celebrates and empowers women.  And most of all, to the wonderful women Alexa Kister, Amanda Awanjo, Eliza Cato, and Sarah Hudson who bravely over came nerves to share their beautifully written research with their sisters.  Congratulations Sarah Hudson for presenting the winning essay of the night!
